Celebrating Devon’s diverse habitats, this collection of short films sought to inspire viewers to help protect the UK’s natural world – wherever they live. For each episode, I composed a specific motif based on the footage used. These illustrations helped viewers visualise the landscape
The series was a collaboration between WWF, Sky Ocean Rescue, North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, National Trust and the Environment Agency.

The films were created by Nina Constable and Mindfully Wired Communications. They can be viewed in full here.

In 2020 I was commissioned by Mindfully Wired Communications to create a set of digital species spot illustrations for the Fishmonger’s guilds new project ‘Discover Seafood’ to feature across their website and socials. The digital artworks included 42 species of fish and seafood that are caught in UK waters as well as some small icons for their interactive seafood map!

Discover Seafood is an interactive portal designed by MWC and Octophin Digital that helps you find, cook and eat local and seasonal seafood catches from across the UK as well as helping you learn about the fishermen, communities and small businesses behind the industry.
The interactive map of the UK allows you to search from your local fishmongers, ports and delivery services and also allows you to check what fish are in season in your area. All of this aims to help connect up the line from source to plate and make buying and eating seafood as sustainable and supportive for the industry as possible.

The digital illustrations I created for Discover Seafood have also been used by the creative team across various social media campaigns including Discover Seafood UK relay- their bid to find budding explorers and writer to report back on hidden seafood gems across the UK!
