SOAP PACKAGING

This was a personal project I set myself to design some illustrated packaging for an imagined range of organic soaps. I wanted to bring together my joy of painting plants, flower and fruit- as well as the occasional bee- and turn those drawings into a packaging project which was beautiful as well as practical and showcases the way illustration can be used on product.

This project also reflects the importance to me of working with clients who have a focus on sustainability through packaging and material use as well as in the subject matter of the illustrations.

Choosing colourful colour combinations as well as classic ingredient pairings, I used my watercolours and coloured pencil to illustrate the packaging with these loose watercolour illustrations. I brought them all together digitally to create these imagined soap bar wrappers for an organic soap bar brand.
